previous experience.
We all hope it never happens to us or those we love, but it can happen.

This is an excellent program for mothers and daughters to take together.


ASIST - Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

Basic Literacy & Numeracy

This class is to help those struggling with reading, writing and numbers. You will work
with a certified instructor to help get your skills to a level where you can apply for
upgrading or enter the job force.

This evening of facilitated discussion is to help organizations and agencies look at
what we have in our community and what do we need, to help our community feel
safe and comfortable for everyone. Let's work together to see what we need/want
and who's mandate it falls under.
If you would like to have input into the direction of local agencies & organizations
please plan to attend this evening session

Ymmm ...... Freshed Baked Buns
March 10th
10:00 to 2:00 at E.W.Pratt High School - Home Ec. Room
Registration fee - $25        Registration deadline - March 5th
Registration includes all supplies needed to make 2 dozen buns.
You will learn to make buns from scratch and then take them home for the last rising
and baking. You will have fresh, warm buns for supper

Introduction to Computers
March 13th to March 29th         Tuesdays and Thursdays        6:30 to 9:00
At the High Prairie Campus of Northern Lakes College

Don't be afraid, your computer won't bite. This course is for the person who is new or
unsure about operating a computer. You will learn the basics about the different
programs and how to make your computer work  for you.

Stained Glass
March 23rd & 24th         
Friday - 6:30 to 9:30                Saturday - 8:30 to 4:30
At the Elks Hall in town
Registration fee - $100        Registration deadline - March 15th
Registration includes all materials to complete one piece. This class is for beginners
to masters. Those just beginning will choose from a variety of projects and those with
more experience will complete a more complex piece.

Cuddle Quilts - Strip Quilting with Faux Fur

Materials needed: sewing machine, 17 - 5" strips or cuddle fabric (faux fur), 2 yards
batting, 2.5 yards cuddle fabric for backing & binding, 1 can spray adhesive.
